Short-Term Counseling

Short-Term Counseling may be beneficial for adolescents dealing with issues common to young people today. While they may not have an alcohol or drug problem, they may just need someone to talk to. We address these issues on a one-to-one basis with trained mental health counselors.

Some of the issues we can address include

  • Depression
  • Bullying
  • School problems
  • Trauma
  • Family problems
  • Grief
  • Low self-esteem
  • Impulsive behaviors
  • Anxiety
  • Gambling

Drug Testing

Meridian offers comprehensive drug and alcohol testing services for adolescents. Tests can be performed on-site by our medical personnel or at your home by using an instant screening kit.

As part of the overall continuum of services for adolescents, Meridian offers prevention services that educate young people about the issues affecting them today. These issues include: drug and alcohol use, depression, bullying, suicide, healthy relationships, peer pressure, gambling and more.

The PANDA Leaders Club empowers young people to make positive life choices through regular club meetings, annual camps and monthly community service activities. PANDA can be brought to middle schools or high schools.
