Meridian’s MOMS Program invited to Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative Design Meeting
Meridian’s MOMS Program staff was invited to be part of a design meeting in Columbus with the Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative (OPQC), co-hosted by the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM). The purpose of the design meeting was to build upon learnings from current work with maternity care providers (the Maternal Opiate Medical Supports Plus (MOMS+) project), previous work with neonatal providers (the Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) project), and other efforts from various stakeholders across Ohio. Additionally, the group discussed current insights from behavioral health, MAT providers, and other key community partners who touch the care and services women and their infants receive throughout their journey. Meridian was asked to be part of the discussion due to the success of both their Mahoning and Trumbull County MOMS Program.
