Larry Moliterno


Larry Moliterno serves as both President and Chief Executive Officer of Meridian HealthCare.

He has over 25 years of executive leadership experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Larry holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Youngstown State University and taught as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Williamson College of Business for over 10 years. He also currently serves as a Trustee for Boardman Township.

Darla Gallagher

Senior VP/Chief Operating Officer

Darla Gallagher oversees all operation activities, administrative support, human resources and medical records for Meridian HealthCare.

Darla has over 20 years experience in the field of non-profit financial management and currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for the agency. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Youngstown State University.

Dr. Daniel Brown

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Daniel Brown has worked with Meridian's Medication Assisted Treatment program since 2005 and in 2013 joined Meridian full-time as Chief Medical Officer.

His prior experience includes 10 years as a private practice physician, as well as the Director of Hospice, Director of Home Health and Utilization Review for Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, PA. He is an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine for Northeastern Ohio Medical University and serves as adjunct faculty in the Family Medicine residency programs at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown and River Valley Health Partners in East Liverpool.

Dr. Brown served on the Clinical Advisory Panel for the Maternal Opiate Medical Support Project. He also received the Eagle Award from the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board in recognition of his work at Meridian and in the community to promote Medication Assisted Treatment, and for organizing and implementing Meridian’s telemedicine program.

Dr. Brown received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Slippery Rock University and attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his internship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Horizon Hospital prior to his Family Medicine Residency at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
